One email when it's out. No newsletter.

iPhone Duo, closed: what's waiting on you, first.
Widgets with real buttons.
The live grocery run on the Lock Screen.
Quick add understands dates and people.
Sort together, propped on the table.
Built for the two of you, and for the phone in your pocket
Hand it over, it lands on their phone
Assign a card to your partner and it's at the top of their board in under a second, with a notification they can finish or hand back without opening the app.
Type it like you'd say it
“Call the plumber tomorrow @Sam” sets the date and hands it over. Works in English, German, Spanish, French, Portuguese, Italian, Dutch, Polish and Turkish.
Widgets that do things
What's waiting on you, on the Home Screen and Lock Screen — with Done and Hand back buttons right on the widget. A countdown to the trip. This week's split between the two of you.
A live grocery run
Start a run on any checklist and your partner sees “Sam is on it · 3/5” on their Lock Screen and in the Dynamic Island, ticking off as you go.
Sort together
Go through the cards as a couple and give each one an owner: Me, Sam, or either of us. Made for a phone propped on the kitchen table.
Siri, Spotlight, the share sheet
“Add to Simpleban”, “What's waiting on me?”, cards in Spotlight search, and a share-sheet action that turns any link or note into a card.
iPhone Duo
Opens like a book: you on one side, your partner on the other
Apple's foldable gets its own layout. Closed, it's a phone with the board one thumb away. Open, the fold splits the board between the two of you, and dragging a card across is how you hand it over. Prop it on the table and Sort together puts the card on the top half and every choice on the bottom half. Same features in every pose, as it should be.
- Two even columns that split at the fold — nothing tappable on the crease
- Controls on the side rail, within reach of your thumb
- Sort together when it's propped on the table
- StandBy widgets: waiting on you, the countdown, this week's split

Questions, answered
- When is the iPhone app out?
- It's built and in testing on iPhone, iPad and iPhone Duo. Join the waitlist and we'll email you the day it's on the App Store — nothing else, ever.
- What does it cost?
- Nothing. Simpleban is free forever for you and your +1, on the web and in the app, with every feature. Adding more people or sharing boards beyond your +1 will be a subscription tier, coming soon — a flat rate, never per seat.
- Can I use Simpleban on my phone today?
- Yes. Open simpleban.app in Safari and add it to your Home Screen: it installs like an app, works offline and syncs live. The native app adds widgets, Live Activities, Siri, the share sheet and the iPhone Duo layouts.
- What's special on iPhone Duo?
- The board opens like a book: your cards on one half, your partner's on the other, with nothing tappable on the fold. Drag a card across to hand it over. Prop the Duo on a table and Sort together puts the card up top and the choices on the bottom half.
- Does my partner need the app?
- No. One of you on the app and the other on the web works fine — it's the same board, synced live. They join from your invite link with a name and an email, and never pay.
- Is there an Android app?
- Not planned. Android users get the full web app, installable to the home screen, with the same live sync.
Until then, it's already on your phone
Open simpleban.app in Safari and add it to your Home Screen. Same board, same live sync, free forever for two.
