# Simpleban

> Simpleban is the kanban board for two people — a freelancer and their client, a couple, or a cofounder pair. It is a dead simple, real-time kanban web app that is installable as a PWA. It deliberately does less than Trello, Asana or Jira, and is built around two people handing work back and forth. Free forever for two; flat-rate plans for more people are coming soon.

## Pricing
- Free forever for two: every feature, unlimited boards and cards, for you and the one person you invite (your +1). No trial, no credit card.
- More people: adding more people or sharing boards beyond your +1 will be a paid subscription tier, coming soon — a flat rate, never per seat.
- Written promise: nothing free today will ever move behind a paywall, and the invited person never pays. No ads, no selling data.

## Key facts
- Two-person assignment: every card is assigned to one person: "Me", the partner by name, or "Either of us". Hand a card to your +1 and it shows as "waiting on you" on their board, live — and by email if they're away (never a "remind" button one person presses on the other).
- Quick add: typing "Call the plumber tomorrow @Sam" sets the due date and owner (web, iPhone), with date words in all 9 languages.
- My day (/today): overdue, due today, waiting on you and this week across every board, with Done / Hand back on each row.

- Works for one person too: a solo board is a complete personal kanban (no prompts to invite anyone); inviting one person later turns it into a two-person board.
