Simpleban does less on purpose. There are no labels, due-date engines, dashboards, or plugins to load — just columns and cards with optimistic updates, so every action lands instantly and the board opens in under a second. Changes sync live between you and your teammate, and the installable app keeps working offline.

- Yes — free forever for two people (you plus one teammate), with every feature, unlimited boards and cards, and no credit card. It is not a trial.
- What's the catch?
- There isn't one. For two people everything is free forever, in writing: nothing that is free today will ever move behind a paywall, and the person you invite never pays. If you need more people or want to share boards beyond your +1, we'll soon introduce subscription tiers — a flat rate, never per seat.
- Do I need to install anything?
- No. Simpleban runs in the browser. If you want, install it as an app (PWA) on your phone or desktop — it then works offline too.
- Is this an online kanban board, or do I download something?
- It's online: open simpleban.app in any browser and your board is there, synced live between devices and between the two of you. There is nothing to download — though you can add it to your Home Screen or desktop and it then works offline as well.
- Is Simpleban an electronic kanban board?
- If you mean a digital kanban board for tasks and projects — yes, and free. If you mean a factory e-kanban system that triggers replenishment orders from bins and barcodes, no: Simpleban is a task board for two people, not an inventory system.
- Can I use it without an account?
- You can try the live demo board on the homepage without signing up. Creating an account (email + password, 10 seconds) saves your boards and syncs them across devices.
