Hand it over early, get a ping, start on your own
- Hand a card to your +1 before they've joined — it waits “for your +1” and lands on their board the moment they accept the invite; the invite page tells them how many are waiting
- Push notifications (opt-in, only for handoffs): the moment your +1 hands you a card, your phone says so — with Done and Hand back right on the card
- A quiet Monday “your week” email for people using Simpleban on their own; the Sunday summary stays for pairs
- A three-step getting-started strip on new boards — adding a +1 is listed as optional, because the board is complete for one person
- The first-run template picker is inline above the board instead of a pop-up; the starter card is a real first step with a checklist
- On phones: an “Add to Home Screen” hint from your second visit, and the notes button sits bottom-right
- Share your invite over WhatsApp, Telegram, Messages or mail in one tap
- A one-minute tour of the real buttons for new accounts — skippable, and replayable any time from the account menu
- Quick add on the web: “Call the plumber tomorrow @Sam” sets the date and the owner as you type, in all nine languages; on phones a + button opens the same composer
- My day: overdue, due today, waiting on you and this week across every board, with Done and Hand back right on the row
- Back after a while? Cards your +1 added, finished or handed you get a dot, and a one-line summary says what happened; Mondays show last week's tally
- Adding and editing cards is clearer: a visible Add button and Enter/Esc hint, Mark done on the card, a one-click Checklist, and the card's small print moved out of the way
- The website now shows the real product: quick add, a handed-over card, the open card and the phone board, on the homepage and every landing page
- For people on their own: a Simpleban-for-one page and guides to a personal kanban board, a weekly planner and a simple task manager — plus ⌘K to search cards and run commands, a one-tap thanks on cards your +1 finished, and a shareable card when a countdown arrives
- Fixes from a full end-to-end test pass: no pop-up asking to invite anyone after sign-up, the invite bar waits until you've settled in, and your board updates the moment your +1 joins
- Import a Trello board: export it as JSON, drop the file in — lists become columns, cards keep notes, checklists, labels and due dates
- The installed app shows a number on its icon: cards handed to you plus what's due today, across every board
- The 8am email now also lists cards due today on your own boards, so it works for people who never assign cards to themselves — and one quiet note after two weeks away, sent once
- Share to Simpleban: on an Android phone with the app installed, share a link or text from any app and it lands as a card in your first column
- A pinned tab shows the count too: “(2) Kitchen reno”
- Notifications for people on their own: the morning list can arrive as a push on days something is due, offered once you've put a date on a card
- The “for one person” page in all eight other languages, with the right links between them
- Repeats in plain words: “Water the plants every Monday”, “Change the filter every 3 days”, “Pay rent monthly” — the card comes back on its own, in all nine languages
- One welcome email the day after you sign up, with three things to try; the old “invite your +1” reminders are gone — inviting someone is optional and stays in the menu
- A dated card can go straight into your calendar: Google Calendar or an .ics file, from the date menu on the card
- My day: overdue cards get a one-tap Today (or Move all to today), and today's cards a one-tap Tomorrow — no more red pile
- Start from the page you came from: the button on every guide and use-case page says which template your board will start as, the signup form repeats it, and the board arrives set up — or start blank with one click
- Template pages show a live example board — a real board shared with the read-only link, not a mock-up
- Still nothing on your board three days in? One email offers the template that matches where you came from, and one click sets it up
- Shared boards say “Made with Simpleban” with a way to start your own
